More Little-boy Gushing
Today I was having the most awful morning, and feeling very lonely and very much as if I were every-ones’ errand girl and no-one’s priority when John Wentz stopped me and said, “You know, Luke prayed for you last night.” Funny how that not-quite-three-year-old little boy can brighten my day.
I’ve gushed quite a bit about Luke now, though, and so it is Logan’s turn. I love Logan. He is so round and cuddly; Luke never was much of a cuddler, he’s much more independent and out-going than Logan. The other night I was dancing around the coffee shop with him after a cook-out we had for the college ministry at UCC. He giggled and clapped and we just had such a ball spinning around in circles. And he’s smart! He is starting to make “connections.” When he got his finger almost chopped off a couple of months ago he rode in an ambulance, and now whenever he hears sirens he says, “Uh-oh!” He does other cute stuff like that too. It is so fun to watch kids at that age as they learn and grow and discover things about the world around them.

Being errand-girl makes you feel useful, but sucks at the same time. You need to not talk about the boys so much…it makes me miss them too much.
