Having fun with nature
Lately I’ve been having fun with nature. There’s been snow on the ground for the past few weeks, which is gorgous (although difficult to get around in because my surgical boot that I still have to wear has about zero traction). The other day I saw a mourning dove with a pearly-pink head and neck, and watched it fly away with it’s high, clear “c-c-coo-coo-coo.” And the day before that I saw an exquisite sunset. I’m kind of glad I don’t have a car in some ways; I would miss things on the walk home because I’d be going too fast.

The one thing about Cincinnati that makes me miss being home is not being able to see the stars.
