Job Hunt Blues II
The troublesome thing about applying for job after job and interviewing for job after job and never getting hired is that you begin to feel that no one wants you. And after a little while of that you begin to wonder why, if God is really in charge and really made you precisely the way you are– with your skill sets and personality– He didn’t make a job for you, too. And then after a little while of that you begin to wonder, since He didn’t provide for you, whether even He wants you.
This is very silly of course, but there it is. We are all silly enough to worry and play the fool quite often.
