Quiz Time!
My sister and I have been on line doing a bit of Christmas shopping…but we seem to have gotten a bit sidetracked…here’s the result!
Who knew? Lol. No, actually, I can see this. My attitude is less than stellar at times and I seem to try all the wrong ways before I try the right ones. Sadly, it won’t make any sense to most of you unless you’ve read the books and/or seen the old BBC version of the films…I hope that the current group gets to make all of them straight through, because the BBC stopped after #4, the Silver Chair (the book which introduces this character).
Go on, click on the banner and the link will take you to the quiz. Tell me who you are!

The graphic seems to have trouble loading, but the link still works. So I’ll just post here what it says: “I am Jill Pole.” The description: “As Jill, you are confident, respectful, and a little bit bossy! You have an acquired taste for adventure, and love any challenge that you have to face.” You may add in, witty and a bit sarcastic.

PS I’m interested to see if anybody gets this one: “Jadis, the White Witch. Congratulations, you are positively evil. Your friends may be slightly tetchy about you trying to kill, but who cares when you have power? Anyway, white is this year’s black.”

Jill was always the coolest of the girls because she could weigh on in with both feet first but you still felt like the world was ending when the nasty folks forced her to cry.
As for me…
“You are most like Peter Pevensie, once High King of Narnia. As Peter, you are brave, loyal yet intelligent, and are greatly respected for upholding what you think is right.”
… Which is somewhat of a shift for me as I believe I’ve ended up as Dr. Cornelius (dull, dull, dull) on numerous occassions. Of course, the most accurate description was for the character who “sets fashions with his trendy beard” but it wasn’t to be a match this time around.

As Lucy Pevensie, you may be quite timid and shy, but your heart is in the right place! You make sure you tell the truth, even if it results in embarrassment.
So here’s the beef…I’ve never read or seen this movie…but she looks like a cutie!

I took the Harry Potter quiz on the same page and I got Rubeus Hagrid.
As Hagrid, you may be a little gullible, clumsy and overweight, but you are kind, risiliant and welcoming. You have the bonus of being able to store dinners in your beard.
Well…I was hoping for a girl…but Hagrid will do…at least I’m not Uncle Vernon!

As Prince Rilian, you are brave, noble and intelligent, but easily misguided! Just make sure you don’t go after any green women.
Out of all of the characters listed, this is the only one I don’t remember.

I was Peter…although I could see a lot of Susan in me as well. That whole older sibling role seems to fit me well.

As Prince Caspian you are a noble, goodhearted but mischievous scallywag! Fun loving, you are admired for your easy going nature.

I took the Harry Potter one as well and ended up Cedric Diggory.
As Cedric, you are good looking, cool and popular. You are a natural born leader, and are talented and resourceful.
Doesn’t this dude die? I can’t remember.

Eric, Rilian gets rescued…by Jill. And no, they don’t run off and get married. He is a king though, which Jill is not, so kudos for that (in fact Jill’s almost the only girl in the whole series who doesn’t wind up a queen; the only other one is Polly, who features in The Magician’s Nephew and winds up being a Lady, so she’s titled after a fashion. Jill’s got nuthin’. Pretty typical. Hey, I’m ok with that.
Jill is not my over-all favorite; Lucy is. But Jill’s up there as a pretty good sport and absolutely the one you’d want to lose your way in a forest with, if you had to choose. Resourceful, good navigator, and good at hiding/sneaking up on people. Hardy type that likes camping.

Sarah, well, that’s dead-on, isn’t it?
Jules, yes, I see you as the Susan type. Not just big-sisterly, but also very smart and logical. Susan is arguably the most intelligent of the four Pevensies and is certainly the most sensible.

I got the horse (aka. Jewel the Unicorn). Talk about your disapointments… and on the Potter test I’m a darn French chik… but I was at least Slytherin, the sneaky, devious, leading and so I:
“…Have a thirst for power and will do anything to achieve your goals.”
Oy

Zach, you coulda been Bree. He really was just a horse. At least Unicorns are really noble.

You are most like Peter Pevensie, once High King of Narnia. As Peter, you are brave, loyal yet intelligent, and are greatly respected for upholding what you think is right.
That makes me happy.

Lori, Hearing from you makes me happy.

Tirian for the Narnia Quiz.
And Harry for the Potter quiz.

Almost predictably, another Susan here. I can’t say I’m terribly surprised, but I can’t say I’m terribly enthused either.

I don’t want to hear that from you, Parke. Own it! Live from your strengths. Work it, Lol. I don’t know whether you are a “Susan” or not, but I do know that you are fabulous exactly the way you are.
